Job summary

GE Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled Site Receiver & Quality Specialist to support wind turbine construction at the Uungula Wind Farm, Wellington NSW. The role involves inspection and handover of turbine components, ensuring quality and safety.

The position offers a 3:1 roster, Monday to Saturday, initially 12 months with potential extension. You can be local, DIDO or FIFO, with flights, shared accommodation, site vehicle and per diem provided.

Qualifications

Certificate III or Diploma in Quality Auditing, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering or similar.
Experience in wind turbine installation or wind farm quality inspections.
Quality assurance and inspection experience on a wind farm project.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections of wind turbine components
Report and document defects, damages, and rework progress
Maintain accurate inspection and inventory records
Collaborate with installation and technical teams
Dispatch material to different locations
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Support logistics and provide technical advice to subcontractors
Carry out and participate in Prestart briefings
Non-Conformance reporting (NCR) and management
Reading, interpreting and understanding work instructions and relaying information to subcontractors
Manage and co-ordinate return of transport frames, tooling, and equipment with subcontractor
