Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Field Installation Supervisor to lead on-site wind turbine installation at the Uungula Wind Farm project in Wellington, NSW. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors and crews, and ensure safe, high-quality delivery within schedule.

The role requires a recognised mechanical or electrical trade qualification, experience in wind energy installations (GE Cypress 2 turbine preferred), and a proven

Qualifications

• Recognised trade qualification in a mechanical, electrical or related discipline.
• Extensive wind energy installation experience, with GE Cypress 2 turbine preferred.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and supervise contractors on complex projects.
• Solid knowledge of safety legislation, construction standards and quality requirements.
• Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site wind turbine installation and construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site crews and suppliers to meet objectives.
• Drive a strong safety culture through inspections, risk assessments and compliance.
• Monitor schedules, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure work meets specifications.
• Provide progress updates and act as liaison between site teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain site records and documentation; mentor field personnel.
