GE Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled Site Receiver & Quality Specialist to support wind turbine construction at the Uungula Wind Farm, Wellington NSW. The role involves inspection and handover of turbine components, ensuring quality and safety.

The position offers a 3:1 roster, Monday to Saturday, initially 12 months with potential extension. You can be local, DIDO or FIFO, with flights, shared accommodation, site vehicle and per diem provided.

Formación

• Certificate III or Diploma in Quality Auditing, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering or similar.
• Experience in wind turbine installation or wind farm quality inspections.
• Quality assurance and inspection experience on a wind farm project.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections of wind turbine components
• Report and document defects, damages, and rework progress
• Maintain accurate inspection and inventory records
• Collaborate with installation and technical teams
• Dispatch material to different locations
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support logistics and provide technical advice to subcontractors
• Carry out and participate in Prestart briefings
• Non-Conformance reporting (NCR) and management
• Reading, interpreting and understanding work instructions and relaying information to subcontractors
• Manage and co-ordinate return of transport frames, tooling, and equipment with subcontractor

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Receiver & Quality Specialist to support the wind turbine construction on the Uungula Wind Farm project. As a Receiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the inspection and handover of wind turbine components are completed with technical expertise and attention to detail. Your problem-solving abilities and knowledge of wind turbine systems will contribute to the successful execution of the project.

Site Location: Uungula Wind Farm, Wellington NSW
3:1 roster working Monday to Saturday
Initially a 12 month contract with view to extend
You can be a local or DIDO or FIFO;
Included: flights/share accommodation/site vehicle/per diem

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections of wind turbine components

Report and document defects, damages, and rework progress

Maintain accurate inspection and inventory records

Collaborate with installation and technical teams

Dispatch material to different locations.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Support logistics and provide technical advice to subcontractors

Carry out and participate in Prestart briefings.

About You

Certificate III/Diploma in Quality Auditing, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering or similar

Proven experience in wind turbine installation or wind farm quality inspections

Quality assurance and inspection experience on a wind farm project

Strong knowledge of quality standards and non-conformance reporting

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent communication skills and safety mindset

Willingness to travel and work on-site

Valid driver's license/ White Card

• GWO Advanced Rescue Training.
• Relevant certifications in wind energy, safety, or related fields are a plus.
