Job summary

Vestas is seeking an Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee HV works across wind farm projects in Australia. You will lead HV switching, coordinate with electrical contractors, and ensure adherence to HV safety rules and QA/QC processes.

Role requires strong stakeholder communication, subcontractor management, and the ability to maintain safety and quality on demanding sites. Australian standards knowledge and licensing are essential.

Qualifications

• HV switching, switching programs, and safety documentation per HV rules.
• Experience coordinating HV work with electrical contractors and HV Authorized Persons.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and industrial legislation is essential.
• Strong ability to manage subcontractors in site-based construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage HV works as HV Responsible Officer (HVRO) for wind farm sites.
• Produce and execute HV switching programs and safety procedures.
• Facilitate a safe working environment during high voltage operations.
• Coordinate QA/QC submissions and inspections/test plans.
• Liaise with stakeholders and Melbourne-based commissioning personnel.
