Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a High Voltage Operations specialist to provide technical leadership across projects and services in Australia. The role focuses on electrical safety, commissioning, maintenance, and contractor oversight during wind turbine and substation work.

Travel to ANZ project sites is required, with flexibility for remote work when not on-site. The ideal candidate will have an Australian A-grade electrical license, 5+ years HV experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate

Qualifications

Must hold Australian A-grade electrical license.
Pre-requisites to be named Technical Nominee/Electrical Supervisor on state licenses.
Minimum 5 years experienced HV operator within date training.
HV and LV operations experience.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Assist in development and ongoing review of compliance plan for electrical contracting in each state.
Monitor licenses for GE Renewable Energy and contractors across states.
Oversee High Voltage safety procedures and operations at sites.
Develop and implementHV switching competency programs including VOC refreshers.
Support electrical safety procedures and operational switching at wind farm sites.
Maintain electrical training program including LOTO support.
Support regional EHS audit program for electrical equipment.
