Job summary

Vestas is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee HV works across wind farm projects in Australia. The role focuses on HV switching, safety documentation, and coordination of electrical contractors and HV Authorized Persons.

You will manage HV RO duties, supervise pre-commissioning and HV commissioning, and ensure QA/QA submissions meet Vestas HV Safety Rules, while maintaining a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Electrical License.
• HV switching, earthing and safety documentation experience preferred.
• Strong stakeholder negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all High Voltage (HV) works for Wind Farm as HV Responsible Officer (HVRO).
• Coordinate HV work of Electrical contractors and HV Authorized Persons.
• Produce switching program and execute HV switching, isolation, and earthing duties.
• Facilitate a safe working environment during high voltage activities.
• Witness inspections and tests of electrical components and infrastructure.
• Prepare ITP reviews and QA packs with Subcontractors.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address technical queries.
• Supervise Electrical construction activities, pre-commissioning and HV commissioning.
