Job summary

News Corp Australia is seeking an empathetic Health, Safety & Security Adviser in Surry Hills for a 12-month initial contract with hybrid working. You will embed national WHS practices, provide specialist risk management advice, and coach teams on hazard identification, risk assessment, and using our electronic HSS software.

Qualifications

Holds a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety with proven safety experience.
Experience managing safety risks in production, operations, manufacturing and multi-tenant buildings.
Natural collaborator and true WHS business partner focused on impact.
Strong listening skills and ability to influence stakeholders with empathy.
Willingness to travel interstate when required.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist health, safety & security advice to site leaders with regular reporting.
Lead risk management initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Coach employees on risk elimination and using our HSS management software.
Monitor workplace controls and embed the national safety mission through verification.
Take ownership of injury claims, liaising with insurers and providers.
