Job summary

Best Sheds Pty in Port Kembla, NSW is seeking a proactive Work Health & Safety Manager to lead our WHS program across multiple sites. You will ensure compliance with our WHS management system, drive risk management initiatives, and oversee audits and KPI reporting to maintain a safe workplace for staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar WHS leadership role within a medium to large enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of OH&S legislation and standards.
• Proven stakeholder management and coaching skills to influence safety outcomes.
• Self-motivated leader able to work autonomously.
• High attention to detail with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with the established WHS management system.
• Drive risk management strategies and interventions.
• Oversee audits (internal and external) and WHS reporting.
• Ensure WHS policies are applied consistently across units.
• Develop and implement strategies to address emerging risks and trends.
