Job summary

Metropolitan Memorial Parks seeks a Workplace Safety and Wellbeing Manager to lead the evolution of our WHS strategy across NSW sites. You will drive safety culture, risk management and regulatory compliance, aligning initiatives with our business objectives.

You will collaborate with executive teams to embed WHS frameworks, develop wellbeing programs, manage psychosocial risk, and lead a high‑performing WHS team through continuous improvement. Strong leadership and data analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar managerial role.
• Tertiary WHS qualifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the WHS strategy for 2026–2029 aligned with strategic objectives.
• Provide WHS advice to executive leaders and committees to strengthen governance and compliance.
• Embed WHSMS across all cemetery sites to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Collaborate with business units to foster a safety-first culture and ensure compliance.
• Drive integrated WHS solutions across all sites with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee incident and injury management framework with reporting and investigation.
• Manage WHS analytics and reporting for performance insights to leadership and Board.
• Develop wellbeing programs addressing mental, physical, and emotional health.
