Job summary

JBS Beef City Plant in the Toowoomba region is seeking a Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinator for the PM shift. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will drive workplace health and safety, rehabilitation, and return-to-work programs, coordinating injury management and liaising with medical providers.

The role requires strong WHS knowledge, experience in injury management and the ability to lead on-shift rehabilitation efforts while engaging with a wide range of employees and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Formal WHS and Return to Work qualifications preferred.
• Experience with workers' compensation and rehab legislation.
• Ability to work autonomously and with a team.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of manufacturing hazards in a food environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist investigations for injuries, near misses or hazards.
• Participate in WHS committee meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Rehab and Health & Safety Management System.
• Review updates to Standards, Codes of Practice, WHS Act and WHS Regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and changes implemented.
• Promote safety culture and awareness.
• Provide workplace rehabilitation within Workers Compensation guidelines.
• Lead injury management and rehabilitation on the PM shift.
• Liaise with medical providers, employees and stakeholders.
