Job summary

IM Partners is seeking a WHS and Return to Work Coordinator to join our established WHS team. This newly created role supports a group of established South Australian commercial and residential construction businesses.

It's a hands-on role between safety and injury management, out on site, in offices and at facilities. You'll manage return to work from start to finish, collaborating with project teams, workers and contractors to implement practical safety measures.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or SA RTW Coordinator accreditation.
• Experience in WHS, construction or trades, or workers' compensation.
• Confident working with site teams, managers, medical providers and contractors.
• Good communication, organisational and computer skills.
• Current driver's licence and own car.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site and workplace inspections and support practical risk management.
• Provide day-to-day WHS advice to managers, project teams and workers.
• Coordinate injury management, suitable duties and return to work plans.
• Liaise with injured workers, managers, treating doctors, allied health providers and the claims agent.
• Develop and review SWMS, risk assessments and WHS documentation.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Contractor onboarding and compliance.
• Coordinating inductions, toolbox talks and training.
• Maintaining WHS and RTW systems, registers and records.
