The Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS) seeks a capable team leader to manage resources and deliver outcomes aligned with the Directorate and Group Business Plan in Western Australia. You will lead content development for the Business Plan, represent LGIRS at forums and committees on WHS issues, and drive continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher WHS qualification or extensive WHS experience.
• WA C or C-A class drivers licence or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage the team and its resources to deliver outcomes in the Directorate and Group Business Plan.
• Lead the team in developing content for the Business Plan and related projects.
• Represent the Department on WHS forums, committees and working groups.
• Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure service delivery and improvements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for team efficiency.
