Greenworx is seeking a WHS Coordinator to maintain and improve policies, procedures and systems across NSW. You will monitor regulatory changes and translate them into practical processes, coordinate risk assessments, SWMS, SOPs, toolbox talks, training and emergency management.
You will oversee incidents, hazards, near misses and corrective actions, and manage central records for licences, qualifications, training and certifications.
Maintain and continuously improve WHS policies, procedures, registers, templates and systems.
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and translate these into practical business processes.
Coordinate recurring WHS requirements including risk assessments, SWMS, SOPs, toolbox talks, training and emergency management.
Maintain oversight of incidents, hazards, near misses and corrective actions, ensuring outstanding actions are followed through.
Manage central records for licences, qualifications, competencies, training and certifications.
Coordinate WHS consultation processes, including the Health & Safety Committee.
Identify trends, gaps and opportunities to strengthen WHS systems across the business.
Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
Provide clear WHS reporting to senior management.
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or higher, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Minimum 2 years' relevant WHS experience in a coordination, systems or compliance role, including conducting site safety inspections.
Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and improving WHS systems, policies and procedures.
Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and Codes of Practice.
Strong organisational, written communication and document-management skills.
The ability to monitor multiple compliance requirements and drive actions through to completion.
A practical, collaborative approach to working with operational managers and teams.
Experience in landscaping, construction, civil works, trades, maintenance or another field-based environment will be highly regarded, as will experience with workers' compensation, return-to-work coordination and contractor management.
