Job summary

Safety Australia Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to deliver WHS initiatives across the organisation, collaborating with the WHS team, leaders and stakeholders.

You will coordinate projects, track milestones, generate reports, support risk assessments, audits and training, and promote wellbeing and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in WHS or equivalent experience.
• Experience coordinating WHS, risk, wellbeing projects.
• Solid knowledge of WHS principles and legislative requirements.
• Strong project management and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Current Class C Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating WHS projects and initiatives aligned with the organisation's WHS Plan
• Monitoring project milestones, actions, deliverables and timelines
• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of WHS systems, programs and procedures
• Collecting, analysing and reporting WHS data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Preparing WHS reports, dashboards, presentations and compliance documentation
• Supporting risk assessments, hazard management, critical risk initiatives and corrective actions
• Coordinating audits, inspections and reviews and tracking actions through to completion
• Supporting injury management, wellbeing and safety promotion initiatives
• Assisting with WHS communications, awareness campaigns and training resources
• Engaging with managers, employees, HSRs and key stakeholders across the organisation

Job description

You will provide project coordination, implementation and operational support across strategic and operational WHS initiatives, working closely with the WHS team, business leaders and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating WHS projects and initiatives aligned with the organisation's WHS Plan
• Monitoring project milestones, actions, deliverables and timelines
• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of WHS systems, programs and procedures

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in WHS, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience supporting or coordinating WHS, risk, wellbeing or related projects
• Sound knowledge of WHS principles, risk management and legislative requirements
• Strong project management, organisational and time-management skills
• Experience with WHS data analysis, reporting and business systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Sound-level digital literacy and Microsoft Office skills
• A current Class C Driver Licence
• Experience in critical risk management, Safety-II, HOP, WHS systems thinking or injury management will be highly regarded
