Job summary

KMB Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on WHS Coordinator to influence positive safety behaviours and build strong relationships across the workforce. The role focuses on driving a high-performing safety culture through effective communication and practical safety leadership on site.

The ideal candidate will have earthworks, civil construction, or waste-to-resource sector experience, plus a Certificate IV in WHS.

Qualifications

• Hands-on WHS professional with site-based experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Support risk assessments, SWMS reviews and operational safety planning.
• Investigate incidents and hazards, ensuring corrective actions.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings and engagement initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, policies and client requirements.
• Assist with inductions, onboarding and training.
• Maintain safety system, records, reporting and documentation.
• Partner with operational teams to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

With the business continuing to grow, they are seeking a hands-on WHS Coordinator who can influence positive safety behaviours, build strong relationships across the workforce, and help drive a high-performing safety culture. You will bring experience in earthworks, civil construction, waste‑to‑resource or a similar operational environment, along with a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety. To succeed, you will be a confident communicator who builds trust, takes a hands‑on approach and is genuinely passionate about keeping people safe.
