Ramsay Clinic Northside is seeking a proactive WHS Coordinator to lead safety initiatives across multiple NSW private mental health facilities. You will embed the Ramsay safety management system, investigate incidents, and drive risk assessments and site audits to protect staff and patients.

The role requires a Cert IV in WH&S or higher, strong communication, and the ability to work across teams. Expect flexible rostering options, wellbeing support, and opportunities for career development

Qualifications

• Cert IV in WH&S is required or higher.
• Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably in health settings or large organisations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with teams at all levels.
• Proactive and highly organized approach to managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage safety programs effectively.
• Current Australian work rights, National Police Check and immunisation proof may be required.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive WHS Coordinator to join our team and help shape the future of safety across some of NSWs leading private mental health facilities.

As our WHS Coordinator, you will lead and support workplace health and safety initiatives across:

• Ramsay Clinic Cremorne
• Ramsay Clinic Northside
• Ramsay Clinic Macarthur
• Ramsay Clinic Wentworthville

Partnering closely with the National Safety Team and facility Executive Teams, you'll play a pivotal role in embedding a proactive and positive safety culture while supporting compliance, risk management and injury prevention across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Embedding and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system, templates, and documentation.
• Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks.
• Conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training.
• Developing and maintaining effective safety practices.
• Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll need

• Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).
• Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferable within the health industry or a large organisation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
• A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Full Australian work rights, a current Police Check & proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
