Job summary

Ertech is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to support project teams across Sydney-based sites. You will ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Ertech standards, provide timely guidance, and drive safety improvements.

Travel between Sydney projects is required, and leadership in risk management and incident response is essential. The role welcomes experienced WHS professionals and those transitioning from Defence or emergency services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years WHS experience or transferable experience from Defence/emergency services.
• Must be willing to obtain White Card.
• Must be able to obtain National Police Clearance.
• Must have or be eligible for Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of WHS objectives with hazard identification and risk control.
• Manage incidents, injuries, corrective actions and return-to-work programs.
• Monitor WHS performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to improve HSE outcomes.
• Coach and mentor others in WHS expectations.

Education

Cert 4 or higher in OHS/WHS/Environmental Management
