Job summary

Churches of Christ Golden Age Aged Care on the Gold Coast is seeking a Lifestyle Team Leader to guide activity programmes, mentor a dedicated lifestyle therapy team, and champion a person-centred wellbeing model across residents in a residential aged care setting.

You will plan, coordinate and evaluate a range of activities, ensuring engagement, dignity and connection for older Australians, while supporting staff and volunteers in a values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Must lead and mentor lifestyle therapy staff to deliver meaningful activities.
• Develop and implement person-centred lifestyle care plans.
• Design, deliver and evaluate activity programmes for residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support staff and volunteers to deliver activities.
• Assess resident needs and develop person-centred lifestyle plans.
• Design, deliver and evaluate activity programmes for individuals and groups.
• Coordinate staff, volunteers and resources to run engaging programmes.
• Support residents to participate and enhance wellbeing.
• Review and update lifestyle plans to meet evolving resident needs.
