Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care Australia invites an energetic Resident Care and Wellbeing Coordinator to lead our Wellbeing team in delivering engaging lifestyle programs for residents. You will foster creativity, compassion, and collaboration across care staff to enhance daily life for seniors.

You will guide team members, coordinate activities, and maintain strong relationships with residents and families, ensuring dignity and respectful care while adopting new technologies and care planning tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in residential aged care or similar role.
• Diversional Therapy or equivalent qualification or experience as a Manager, Resident Wellbeing Program in an aged care setting.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates.
• NDIS Clearance.
• Competent use of computers, email and electronic care planning software.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• DoFoodSafely Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Wellbeing team to deliver engaging and purposeful lifestyle programs for residents.
• Develop creative, compassionate lifestyle activities and mentor Wellbeing Assistants.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain dignity and preferences of residents while embracing new technology.

Education

Diversional Therapy or equivalent qualification/experience as Manager, Resident Wellbeing Program
