Job summary

Elderly Care is seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator to join our Bayview Place facility in Queensland. This full-time role focuses on designing engaging lifestyle programs to enhance residents' wellbeing and independence.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, facilitate activities, coordinate volunteers, and maintain records to monitor participation and outcomes. Experience in aged care and Cert IV in Lifestyle are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of lifestyle programs in an aged care or community setting.
• Understanding of the physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs of elderly people.
• Creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging activities.
• Commitment to person-centred care and the promotion of independence and wellbeing.
• Aged care experience and Cert IV in Lifestyle are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate a diverse range of lifestyle activities and programs for residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team to align programs with resident care plans.
• Facilitate group activities and one-on-one interactions to promote engagement and wellbeing.
• Coordinate and support volunteers to assist with program delivery.
• Maintain detailed records and provide reporting on participation and outcomes.
• Contribute to program improvement through feedback and innovation.
