Job summary

St Anthony of Padua Catholic College Austral NSW is seeking a Leader of Wellbeing to inspire student wellbeing, lead in a Catholic learning environment, and oversee wellbeing strategy for a K-12 campus.

This two-point promotional role is temporary for up to three years, with a full-time teaching position in HSIE and Legal Studies. You will work with staff, students and families to promote excellence, safety and holistic development.

Qualifications

• A commitment to Catholic Education and the mission of Catholic Schools.
• Commitment to academic excellence.
• Exemplary classroom practice with evidence-based pedagogy.
• Experience and qualifications to teach HSIE; Legal Studies an advantage.
• Extensive student wellbeing leadership experience.
• Strong collaboration with students, parents, staff and support services.
• Substantial knowledge of child protection legislation and policies.
• High level communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
• Religious Education qualifications or willingness to achieve them.

Responsibilities

• Lead wellbeing initiatives and promote a positive school culture.
• Teach HSIE and Stage 6 Legal Studies where applicable.
• Foster excellence and high expectations through rigorous pedagogy.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and support services to optimise outcomes.
• Ensure alignment with child protection policies and school procedures.
