Job summary

Holy Cross College Ryde, part of Sydney Catholic Schools, seeks a Leader of Wellbeing (Year Coordinator) to inspire students with engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The role is a 2-point promotional position, temporary for up to 3 years, with full-time and permanent teaching duties.

You will monitor wellbeing, track attendance, liaise with families, manage classrooms, and design inclusive learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring students' emotional, social and physical wellbeing.
• Proven ability to track attendance, punctuality and behavior.
• Strong liaison with parents, guardians and external support services.
• Demonstrated classroom management and inclusive teaching.
• Ability to create engaging, student-centered learning in a Catholic environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student wellbeing and develop supportive programs.
• Track attendance and address behavioral concerns per school policy.
• Liaise with parents and external counseling services.
• Maintain strong classroom management and inclusive learning.
• Create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences.
• Hold a tertiary Education qualification and NESA accreditation.
• Willingness to attain Religious Education qualifications as required.
