Job summary

Tara Anglican School for Girls in North Parramatta, NSW, invites applications for a Wellbeing Specialist Teacher (ELC - Year 6). This is a full-time role with a 0.5FTE teaching allocation in Diverse Learning, focused on contemporary wellbeing education and a restorative culture.

Reporting to the Head of Diverse Learning, you will design programs, coach staff, and build partnerships with families to support every student’s social, emotional and academic growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with NESA accreditation.
• Experience in student wellbeing or pastoral care.
• Ability to teach across ELC to Year 6 and engage girls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion student wellbeing initiatives across ELC to Year 6.
• Design, implement and evaluate high-quality wellbeing programs.
• Provide coaching and professional learning to build staff capability.
• Collaborate with school leaders to support individual students.
• Support students through interventions using restorative approaches.
• Develop partnerships with families to promote wellbeing and success.
