Job summary

Bupa Woodville is seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Carer to enrich residents’ lives through engaging activities and compassionate companionship in a care home setting. You’ll help plan and run art, garden, and social programs, while ensuring safety and high hygiene standards.

You’ll work closely with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team, supporting mealtimes, outings, and emotional well-being. Prior experience in aged care is essential and First Aid is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for elders in aged care or community setting.
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Australian driver's licence preferred.
• Excellent communication and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Be the fun facilitator by organizing activities and outings for residents.
• Foster social connection through games, events, and conversations.
• Assist with daily living tasks, meals, and outings.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, tidy environment.
• Collaborate with Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities and document progress.
