Job summary

Bupa Clayton is seeking a Wellbeing Carer (Lifestyle and Wellbeing) to enhance the health, lifestyle and well-being of residents. You will lead activities, encourage social engagement, assist with daily living and monitor residents' comfort and safety within a care setting.

You will collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team, follow infection control protocols, and contribute to a warm, inclusive environment that respects residents' preferences and dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting.
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Australian driver's licence is preferable

Responsibilities

• Help residents explore interests through activities and outings.
• Foster belonging through social interaction and conversations.
• Assist with daily living tasks like meals and outings, with empathy for cognitive or mental health needs.
• Gather feedback via surveys and family conferences to improve activities.
