Job summary

Bupa Kempsey Care Home is seeking a compassionate Wellbeing Carer to enrich residents' lives through engaging activities and personalized support. You will help residents explore interests, join outings, and provide companionship while assisting with daily living and meal times.

A First Aid certificate and a valid Australian driver’s licence are preferred. Prior aged care experience is essential, and you will work within a supportive team focused on safe, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential.
• First Aid Certificate (or willing to get one) is required.
• Australian driver's licence preferable.

Responsibilities

• Be the fun facilitator: help residents explore interests through activities and outings.
• Social butterfly: connect residents through games, tea chats, and social events.
• Assist with daily living activities such as mealtimes and outings, offering emotional support.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a tidy, safe environment.
• Liaise with Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan and document activities.
