Job summary

DP World Sydney is seeking an experienced Container Repairer to join our team. You will inspect, repair and maintain shipping containers to ensure they meet industry standards and client expectations in a fast-paced operations environment.

This role uses welding and boiler-making skills, plus a wide range of hand and power tools. You will apply maintenance procedures, access panels and perform structural and wear‑and‑tear repairs with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience repairing containers.
• Welding/boilermaking qualification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.
• Attention to detail with demonstrated focus on safety, customer service and teamwork.

Key Accountabilities

• Use equipment to perform repairs (either structural or wear and tear) to shipping containers to ensure they meet appropriate standards
• Maintenance of containers and upgrading the containers to the specific industry standard
• Comply with the requirements of the quotation that has been provided
