Job summary

DP World is seeking an experienced Container Repairer to join our team in New South Wales. You will repair and maintain shipping containers to industry standards, using welding and boiler-making skills to ensure structural integrity and safety.

This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship on every repair. You will work with hand and power tools, follow fixed procedures, and collaborate with teammates to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience repairing Containers.
• Welding/boiler making experience & qualification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.
• Attention to detail with demonstrated focus on safety, customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment to perform repairs (either structural or wear and tear) to shipping containers to ensure they meet appropriate standards.
• Maintenance of containers and upgrading the containers to the specific industry standard.
• Comply with the requirements of the quotation that has been provided.
