Job summary

Kings Security Doors in Sydney is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team in Minto, NSW 2566 on a full-time basis.

You will fabricate and weld security door components to exacting standards, reading drawings and ensuring quality while following safety practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder or fabricator in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG and stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Strong attention to detail and high quality standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and a strong safety culture.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Physical fitness for manual workshop work.
• Reliability and punctuality to meet deadlines.
• Preferred experience with steel fabrication and security doors, fences or gates.

Responsibilities

Kings Security Doors is seeking an experienced and skilled Fabricator Welder to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in Minto, NSW 2566. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding security door components to the highest standards of quality and precision. As a Fabricator Welder, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations, ensuring that every product meets our stringent safety and quality specifications. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for delivering premium security solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld security door components using Mig welding
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
• Prepare materials and components prior to welding, including cutting, grinding and fitting
• Operate welding equipment including MIG & TIG welders in accordance with safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to workplace health and safety requirements

What we're looking for

• Preferred experience with steel fabrication and security door, Fence or Gate manufacturing
