Job summary

Total Entrance Solutions specialises in manufacturing, installing and maintaining all industrial roller shutters, automatic sliding and swing gates, and automatic doors. We are seeking an experienced boiler maker/fabricator to join the team; primarily workshop-based with occasional on-site installations and call-outs.

The role includes after-hours on-call every seven weeks as part of our 24/7 emergency service.

Qualifications

• Permanent resident living in Australia
• Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication) or similar required
• Proficient in MIG welding and Stick welding
• Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication) mandatory
• Current HR license an advantage
• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent equipment maintenance and upkeep ability
• Flexible team player attitude
• Ability to respond to changing work requirements and peak periods
• Pride in workmanship and a can-do attitude
• CAD drawing ability is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Based in our workshop with occasional on-site crew work for installations and call-outs
• Join a team and contribute to maintenance and fabrication of roller shutters, gates and doors
• Provide after-hours on-call once every seven weeks due to 24/7 emergency service
• Uphold safety, quality workmanship and appearance

We are looking for an experienced boiler maker/fabricator who takes pride in their workmanship to join our team. The position will mainly be based in our workshop; however, it will sometimes involve working as part of a crew on-site for installations and call-outs when required.

As we offer a 24/7 emergency service we expect all staff to be available for after-hours on-call once every seven weeks.

You will take pride in your workmanship and appearance and have a can-do attitude.

Requirements

• Applicants must be a permanent resident living in Australia.
• Relevant welding qualification and experience welding steel and aluminium Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication) or similar
• Candidates must be proficient in MIG welding and Stick welding processes.
• Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication) is mandatory for this position.
• Current driver's license – HR an advantage
• Experience in a similar role.
• Excellent equipment maintenance and upkeep ability
• Flexibility and a team player attitude.
• Ability to respond to changing work requirements and peak periods.
• Pride in your work and a willingness to go the extra mile
• Ability to draw with CAD an advantage
