Kings Security Doors is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our Minto facility on a full-time basis. You will fabricate and weld security door components to precise standards, reading drawings and preparing materials.

Responsibilities

Fabricator Welder – Kings Security Doors

Kings Security Doors is seeking an experienced and skilled Fabricator Welder to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in Minto, NSW 2566. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding security door components to the highest standards of quality and precision. As a Fabricator Welder, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations, ensuring that every product meets our stringent safety and quality specifications. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for delivering premium security solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

Fabricate and weld security door components using Mig welding

Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication

Prepare materials and components prior to welding, including cutting, grinding and fitting

Operate welding equipment including MIG & TIG welders in accordance with safety standards

Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to workplace health and safety requirements

Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance

Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines

Identify and report any defects or issues with materials or equipment promptly

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a welder or fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing industry setting

Proficiency in multiple welding techniques including MIG, TIG and stick welding

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards

Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices and a strong safety culture

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Physical fitness and the capability to perform manual work in a workshop setting

Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to meet production deadlines

Preferred experience with steel fabrication and security door, Fence or Gate manufacturing
