Responsibilities

• MIG welding on structural steel, pipework and pump components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding specifications
• Preparing and setting up materials for welding
• Aligning, clamping and assembling components prior to welding
• Ensuring all welds meet AS1554 standards and company quality requirements
• Inspecting welds and identifying defects
• Grinding, finishing and preparing surfaces for coating or painting
• Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring a safe work area
• Supporting workshop projects and collaborating with fabrication team
• Contributing ideas to improve workshop processes and efficiency

Welder / Fabricator– Workshop Role

Pay: AU$38.00 – AU$45.00 per hour

Job description:

Truflo Pumps is a leading manufacturer of high-performance pumping systems supplying the mining, industrial and infrastructure sectors across Australia. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Bathurst Team.

This is a hands‑on workshop‑based role working on pump systems, pipework and structural components used in demanding mining environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• MIG welding on structural steel, pipework and pump components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding specifications
• Preparing and setting up materials for welding

• Ensuring all welds meet A.S1554 standards and company quality requirements
• Inspecting welds and identifying defects
