Job summary

Workhorse Staffing is seeking an experienced TIG Fabricator/Welder to join a leading Australian manufacturer specialising in processing and engineering equipment. The role focuses on TIG welding stainless steel components and performing fabrication tasks within a skilled team.

You will read and interpret drawings, assist with structural fabrication and MIG welding, and help maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or 2 years TIG welding experience.
• Strong TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

We are currently seeking an experienced TIG Fabricator/ Welder to join a leading Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality processing and engineering equipment. This role is ideally suited to someone with strong TIG fabrication and welding skills who is also willing and capable of assisting with structural fabrication projects as required.

The Role

• TIG welding stainless steel components 3mm - 15mm
• Fabrication and welding
• Read and interpret drawings
• Assist the workshop with structural fabrication/ MIG welding
• Maintaining quality standards and adhering to safety procedures
• Working collaboratively within a skilled fabrication team

Requirements

• Trade qualified or 2 years demonstrated experience
• Strong TIG welding experience with stainless steel
• Structural fabrication and welding - MIG/ mild steel
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Overhead and workshop machinery experience
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
