Job summary

Adbri Limited is seeking a Weighbridge Operator at The Lakes Quarry, 30 minutes from Midland. You will manage weighbridge operations, record every truck, assist with purchasing and invoicing, and provide office documentation support.

The role involves early starts with rotating weeks, and collaboration with production, dispatch and drivers to keep the site moving. You will handle penalties for delays, maintain accurate records, sign in visitors, issue badges, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating weighbridge systems in quarry or logistics environments.
• Ability to rotate shifts including early starts and alternate weeks.
• Strong attention to detail in busy environments.
• Clear communication with drivers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Run the weighbridge and record every truck in and out.
• Check dockets, customer orders and transport paperwork.
• Print and hand out weighbridge tickets and receipts.
• Sign in visitors and issue badges and PPE.
• Answer drivers' and customers' questions or pass issues on quickly.
• Work with production, dispatch and truck drivers to keep the site moving.
• Let people know about delays and site access rules.
• Check weighbridge records and flag discrepancies.
• Ensure loads are recorded for stock accuracy.
• Set up new accounts and enter creditor invoices.
• Report hazards, near misses and incidents and join safety meetings.
• Keep the weighbridge office tidy and records easy to audit.
