Job summary

ASQ Group is seeking a reliable Weighbridge Operator / Transport Administrator at our Newbridge site in Central Victoria. The role combines weighbridge operations, customer service, and transport coordination to keep the quarry running smoothly.

You will process vehicle weights, assist with orders, prepare documentation, and schedule truck movements while maintaining accurate records and complying with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, customer service, logistics, dispatch or a similar operational role.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence with numbers and computer systems.
• Organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear communication and a customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to learn transport operations and heavy vehicle compliance.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Process weighbridge operations and record weights.
• Handle customer enquiries and assist with sales and orders.
• Prepare driver dockets, sales documentation and reports.
• Process cash and EFTPOS transactions.
• Coordinate truck movements and direct drivers on site.
• Maintain accurate records and follow procedures and legislative requirements.
• Assist with daily scheduling of ASQ and subcontractor vehicles.
