Job summary

Brisbane Holiday Village is seeking a professional front office coordinator to join our reception team. You will manage reservations, guest inquiries, group bookings, and daily reconciliations, reporting to the supervisor and updating SOPs.

This is a key full-time role with a five-day roster including weekdays, weekends and public holidays. You will maintain front-office standards, assist in training, and support leadership as needed.

Qualifications

  • Mature, professional, and reliable with a steady presence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid computer literacy; experience with front-office software is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests, handle enquiries, and resolve issues calmly and professionally.
  • Manage bookings, process payments, and complete daily reconciliations.
  • Maintain reception checklists and ensure the desk is organised and ready each shift.
  • Assist with training new reception staff and uphold consistent service standards.
  • Use property management software; experience with NewBook or RTA processes is highly advantageous.
  • Step in to support reception supervising duties when required.
  • Work a flexible 5-day roster covering weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

About the role

Working closely with our reception leadership, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, handling guest enquiries, coordinating group bookings, and completing daily reconciliation processes. You will report to the supervisor and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will help maintain high front-office standards and support the team during busy periods. This is a Key full-time position, scheduled across five days per week, and requires availability for weekday, weekend, and public holiday shifts within our operating hours.

  • Welcome guests, handle enquiries, and resolve issues calmly and professionally
