Small Animal Specialist Hospital – Ryde NSW is seeking a part-time Contact Centre Officer to join the North Ryde Contact Centre. You will be the first point of contact for clients and referring veterinarians, providing supportive, friendly service during stressful times.

The role involves handling high volumes of calls, bookings, payments, and pet insurance guidance, with overnight Friday–Sunday shifts 10pm–6am. Veterinary knowledge is advantageous but not essential.

As we continue to grow, we areseeking a part-time Contact Centre Officersto join ourNorth Ryde Contact Centre. You'llbe a key point of contact for clients and referring veterinarians, providing support during some of their most challenging moments.

We are recruiting forpart-time position, working overnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts between the hours of 10pm - 6am.

About the Role:

As the first point of contact for clients and referring vets, you'll provide friendly and professional support, helping pet owners through what can often be a stressful and emotional time:

• Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls


• Assistingwith appointment bookings and general enquires via phone and email


• Converting general enquires into appointments by clearly communicating SASH's values and services


• Processing payments over the phone


• Guiding clients through the pet insurance claim process


• Liaising with specialists, veterinarians, and nursing teams to ensure seamless communication

About You:

We'relooking for a positive team player with a 'can-do' attitude who will bring emotional resilience and the ability to handle complex or distressing situations with professionalism and care.

• Ability to work Friday - Sunday shifts between 10pm - 6am.
