Small Animal Specialist Hospital in Ryde, NSW, invites applications for a Medical Group Veterinary Nurse to join a dynamic team with a rotating roster across Medicine, Blood Bank, Canine Wards and Feline nursing, including I-131 treatment.

This role suits a nurse seeking to advance their career, experience a range of medical specialties, and contribute to exceptional animal care within a specialist hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
• Desire to learn and progress in medical nursing.
• Experience in a specialist or emergency hospital is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across Medicine, Blood Bank, Canine Wards and Feline nursing including I-131 treatment.
• Provide high-standard veterinary nursing care in a specialist or emergency context.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and nurses in a supportive team environment.
