Job summary

PepsiCo Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Lead to direct our maintenance team across Friday to Monday, ensuring safe, efficient and high-standard upkeep of packaging and processing equipment in our Adelaide facility.

You will collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to maximise plant availability, drive improvements and manage contractor resources in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role offers stability and growth within a global company.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Fitter or Electrician and/or Engineering Degree is required.
• Experience in maintenance management within FMCG or food manufacturing is desirable.
• Strong leadership, team management and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure maintenance is timely and professional.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate the use of subcontractors and external resources as required.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, food safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Support management of maintenance budgets and optimise cost efficiency.
• Support capital and other engineering projects and ensure KPIs are captured and updated daily.
