PepsiCo Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Lead to direct our maintenance team across Friday to Monday, ensuring safe, efficient and high-standard upkeep of packaging and processing equipment in our Adelaide facility.

You will collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to maximise plant availability, drive improvements and manage contractor resources in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role offers stability and growth within a global company.

Competenze

• Trade qualified Fitter or Electrician and/or Engineering Degree is required.
• Experience in maintenance management within FMCG or food manufacturing is desirable.
• Strong leadership, team management and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Job Overview

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead and manage our weekend Maintenance team to ensure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

You'll work closely with key stakeholders to minimise equipment downtime and maximise plant availability.

Collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams will be essential to achieve operational goals and maintain a high-performing, reliable manufacturing environment.

This role operates across 4 days - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure all maintenance is performed in a timely and professional manner
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Coordinate the use of subcontractors and external resources as required

About you

• Proven experience in maintenance management within FMCG or food manufacturing (desirable)
