Job summary

Ballarat Grammar Boarding is seeking a Weekend Chef to join Cater Care and deliver quality meals for boarding students. This role covers Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a focus on consistency, presentation and safe kitchen practice.

You will work independently to support a welcoming dining environment inside the school community. Applicants should hold a recognised cookery trade qualification and have experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in education or

• Experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in education, boarding or institutional catering.
• Confidence with food preparation, bulk cooking and kitchen operations.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to food quality, presentation, hygiene and service.
