Job summary

Ballarat Grammar Boarding is seeking a skilled Chef to join Cater Care Group in Ballarat. You will prepare and present quality meals for functions and events, bringing baking expertise to a welcoming education environment.

Enjoy a Monday to Friday roster from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, uniform provided, and the opportunity for training and career development in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Proven baking skills are essential.
• Demonstrated experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Experience in high-volume catering, ideally within an education or boarding environment.
• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to upholding food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality meals for functions, formal dinners and special events.
• Execute baking and bulk food preparation to meet service requirements.
• Support efficient kitchen operations and ensure timely meal delivery.
