Job summary

Responsibilities

• Analyse user and business requirements and translate them into functional website and web application specifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing and maintaining websites and web-based applications that support the company’s customer service, digital operations and technology-enabled security services. Working closely with management and operational staff, the Web Developer will analyse user and business requirements and translate them into reliable, secure and user-friendly web solutions.

Qualification & experience Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in **Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, Software Development or a related discipline**, or equivalent relevant skills and experience. At least one year of demonstrated professional experience in web development. Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining websites and web-based applications using programming and scripting technologies.

Experience working with databases, APIs and web-system integrations. Knowledge of website security, authentication, access control, backup and recovery practices. Experience in testing, debugging, troubleshooting and optimising web applications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and translate user requirements into practical web solutions. Good communication and collaboration skills.
