RASAK PTY LTD in Sydney, NSW, is seeking an experienced Web Developer to design, develop, maintain and improve websites and web-based applications across our growing organisation.

Employment Type: Full-Time Hours: 38 hours per week Salary: $85,000 per annum + superannuation Location: Sydney, NSW Key Responsibilities include designing, developing, maintaining and integrating web solutions, working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and WordPress, and ensuring performance, security and cross-browser

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development or related discipline.
• Relevant professional web development experience.
• Demonstrated front-end and back-end development capability.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress and related web technologies.
• Experience with APIs, databases, hosting environments and third-party integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, build and maintain company websites and web-based applications.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into functional web solutions.
• Develop website architecture, page structures, navigation systems and user interfaces.
• Write, test, debug and maintain front-end and back-end website code.
• Develop functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and relevant frameworks and content management systems.
• Develop, configure and maintain WordPress websites, themes, templates and plugins where required.
• Integrate websites with databases, APIs, CRM systems, payment platforms and other third-party applications.
• Test websites and applications across different browsers, devices and screen sizes.
• Identify and resolve website errors, bugs, compatibility issues and performance problems.
• Monitor and improve website speed, reliability and technical performance.
• Implement appropriate website security controls, updates, backups and access-management measures.
• Maintain databases and web-hosting configurations associated with company websites and applications.
• Develop and implement new website features and functionality according to business requirements.
• Maintain existing web applications and undertake upgrades and technical improvements.
• Apply responsive web-development principles to optimise websites for desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
• Conduct technical testing and quality assurance before deployment of website changes.
