Job summary

RSR Consulting Ampricon Group Pty Ltd trading as Trev’s Security is seeking an experienced Web Developer for a full-time role in Gladstone Central, Queensland. You will plan, design, develop, test and maintain websites and web-based applications supporting customer service, digital operations and security services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Web Development and at least one year of web development experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, Software Development or related discipline.
• At least one year of demonstrated professional experience in web development.
• Experience developing and maintaining websites and web-based applications using programming and scripting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user and business requirements and translate them into functional website and web application specifications.
• Design, develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications using appropriate programming and scripting languages, frameworks and development tools.
• Develop web-based applications, online forms, dashboards and digital workflows supporting business operations.
• Develop and maintain databases and integrate websites and web applications with APIs and third-party systems.
• Write, modify, test and debug website and web application code to ensure functionality, reliability and compatibility.
• Implement website and web-server security measures, including authentication and access controls, backup and recovery procedures.
• Optimise websites and web applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Monitor, diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting websites, web applications, databases and integrations.
