Job summary

Recruitment Hive is assisting a Federal Government department in Civic, ACT to recruit an APS6 Web Data Specialist for a 12-month non-ongoing opportunity. The role focuses on managing website administration, data files and governance to support an international development transparency portal.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel and data management skills, CMS experience (GovCMS/WordPress), and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, plus Agile delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and data management capabilities including formulas, validation and pivot tables.
• Experience supporting or managing web platforms and CMS content publishing, QA and maintenance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience with data visualization or analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and digital product/website development environments.
• Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps for issue tracking and project management.
• Familiarity with XML and HTML, or ability to learn quickly.
• Understanding of IATI data standards and international development context.

Responsibilities

• Manage website administration and coordinate with external service providers for enhancements, testing and backend operations.
• Maintain and update key data files that drive the public-facing international development transparency portal.
• Support data quality, governance and reporting improvements in managing and publishing development information.
• Translate business needs into practical technical solutions aligning with accessibility and operational priorities.
