Job summary

Paxus is partnering with a major Federal Government organisation to engage one Senior Data Analyst (APS6 equivalent) in Canberra. The role covers design, analysis and delivery of trusted statistics and data-driven insights for operational outcomes.

You will work across data analysis, business/process analysis, stakeholder engagement, documentation and delivery support in a complex enterprise environment. Key responsibilities include data analysis, requirements elicitation, producing analyses

Qualifications

BI reporting and data analysis in complex environments.
Translate business needs into actionable requirements.
Document requirements, processes and data governance artifacts.

Responsibilities

Analyse business processes, systems and data flows to identify improvements.
Elicit, document and validate requirements (business, functional, non-functional).
Produce process maps, workflows, use cases and user stories.
Analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Support systems analysis and impact assessments for changes.
Create and maintain documentation (requirements, models, reporting materials).
Assist testing activities (test planning, UAT, defect management).
Support data quality and governance; maintain compliance with policies.
