Job summary

Macquarie Asset Management in Sydney is seeking a Business Development / Internal Sales Associate to drive new business with financial advisers across New South Wales. This role is primarily phone-based and focuses on building adviser relationships and generating meetings for the Wealth Distribution team.

You will work closely with Business Development Managers, support events and campaigns, maintain accurate CRM records, and contribute to a scalable sales approach.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client service.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• RG146 certification.
• Solid knowledge of investment markets and products across major asset classes.
• Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage with financial advisers to generate meetings for BDMs.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of adviser relationships across NSW.
• Support sales strategy by servicing existing adviser relationships and coordinating events and campaigns.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of calls, meetings and communications.
