Job summary

Mapei Australia, based in Western Australia, is seeking a sales-focused professional to grow its waterproofing product line across commercial, civil, infrastructure and remedial markets. You will engage waterproofing applicators, builders, consultants, engineers, architects and other specifiers, while promoting system specifications and providing on-site support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in waterproofing, coatings, remedial, construction or related industry.
• Proven sales experience highly regarded.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid and current driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Service and support existing customer base while developing new business opportunities.
• Develop relationships with waterproofing applicators, contractors, consultants, engineers, architects, builders, and project stakeholders.
• Identify and track commercial, civil, infrastructure and remedial waterproofing projects.
• Promote Mapei waterproofing systems through specification and technical support.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and site support for waterproofing systems.
• Prepare project proposals and system recommendations with State Sales Manager and Product Managers.
• Work with Product Management and Technical Services to support project specifications and solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date product and application knowledge.
• Provide market and competitor information to the State Sales Manager.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity.
