Job summary

Job description

Waterproofing Integrity is Australia’s leading independent waterproofing advisory group, providing specialist inspection, testing, compliance and remediation advice across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

With offices across Australia and a strong reputation within the construction and property sectors, we partner with builders, developers, strata managers, architects and property owners to help projects meet standards, avoid defects and achieve long-term waterproofing performance.

Due to strong growth across Sydney and NSW/ACT, we are seeking a Waterproofing Compliance Inspector to join our established team of compliance inspectors within our Sydney operations.

Reporting directly to the Technical Team Leader, this role plays an important part in improving industry performance and supporting our clients onsite.

The Role

Working across Sydney, you’ll carry out onsite inspections, testing and reporting on waterproofing systems throughout all stages of construction.

You’ll work directly with builders, consultants and project teams to assess compliance with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC) and project specifications.

This role offers plenty of variety and responsibility. You’ll be coached to manage your own projects while being supported by an experienced technical team.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Practical knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.

• Experience with, or a strong understanding of, waterproofing systems.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

• White Card.

• Current Australian Driver Licence, with a satisfactory driving record and the ability to meet the Company’s motor vehicle insurance requirements.

Highly Regarded

• Waterproofing installation experience.

• Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing.

• Building inspection or quality assurance experience.

• Working at Heights or other relevant construction industry tickets.
